Evaluating Programs for Struggling Youth

This presentation explores three programs (Roots of Empathy, Mosaic, and Take-a-Hike) for youth either experiencing, or at-risk of experiencing, difficulties in the mainstream school system. It (a) evaluates these programs using CASEL, a socio-emotional evaluation tool, (b) outlines common themes that contribute to the success of these programs, and (c) presents implications for current practices.
